On My Road to Becoming a Developer
There are many successful developers. I want to be one of them. It's not for reputation, it's for freedom. I haven't succeed. I'm still on my way. Thanks to my mom, I can now finally full-time focus on learning programming. I'm trying my best to build solid foundations as soon as possible. And then be fully prepared to collaborate with others. Not gonna lie, it's actually so important to have a healthy body and a good environment for studying or thinking. For me, those prerequisites weren't easy to acquire. That's why it took me so long to finally be ready. Anyway, I'm on the right track.
I want to briefly record what stuck me before and what changes I made.

For real, I didn't think I need to take breaks in my whole life. I was willing to keep working (even now I am) because I wanted to do things right, and I thought good things take time. Fortunately, I eventually found it's totally wrong. I was too hard-working due to I couldn't focus in most of the time. It's not because of that I liked doomscrolling or getting distracted by other things. I'm just too sensitive to get focused on the things I'm doing. The sounds bothered me, my families bothered me, small and big health problems bothered me, etc... Of course everyone gets bothered by everything everyday. But I do believe that some people got affected by the same things way more strongly like me.
So the problem is, I need to truly focus, not just want or try to. And the solution is, I need to protect myself as I can, to not get affected when I need to focus.

Now I always try to stay at a separate space where there seldom has other things bother me when I'm going to studying/thinking. And I got myself a used noise-canceling headphones which gave me lots of help on focusing. I never knew that I need noise-canceling so much. I also found that listening to music can make/keep me relaxed anytime. Everything will finally work only if I’m relaxed. So I prefer listening to music while focusing.
Like I said, not only good environment, but also being healthy is important. So I try to eat foods that make my body comfortable. I eat not too less and not too much. I won't eat food anymore when it's 3-4 hours before sleep. I take care of my digestion system. And I sleep at least 7 hours as I can.
---
Besides, I need frequent breaks to strive for most hours of staying focused as that's actually how human brain works.
Pomodoro technique works for me. I've tried 50-17 pomodoro for a month. Sometimes I focused for longer time, sometimes I rested for longer time. But I always made sure I tried to stay focused for 50 mins, and I rested for a least 17 mins in each break. You may heard of 52-17 more often, I set 50 mins just because that I use forest app and it doesn't let me set a section as exactly 52 mins.

In about a week, I can finish my thoroughly review on Foundations course of The Odin Project. With solid understanding on basic syntax, I can finally be prepared to practice programming.
P.S. I don't use AI to help me check my sentences this time because I limit the time spending on my post for longer sleeping :) By the way, happy halloween! (㇏(•̀ᵥᵥ•́)ノ)
